Guy du Plessis has a Master’s degree in psychology and is a Research Consultant for the I-System Institute for Transdisciplinary Studies at Utah State University, Faculty Member at the School of Behavioural Sciences at California Southern University, and a Faculty Member at the Wayne Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy at Bellarmine University. He is the author of An Integral Guide to Recovery: Twelve Steps and Beyond (Integral Publishers), An Integral Foundation for Addiction Treatment: Beyond the Biopsychosocial Model (Integral Publishers), and co-author of the Mind-Body Workbook for Addiction: Effective Tools for Relapse Prevention and Recovery (New Harbinger), and have published academic articles in the fields of addiction studies, theoretical psychology and philosophy.
